Today I learned that filming is a knowledgeable task because it may sound easy but is actually hard. You will have to take the right angle of the people, hold the camera steady, and most importantly know how to edit the film. Everything here is a hard task and the movies we watch must have undergone a great deal of work.
I learned how to fight against a cold. First, you must take medications. Secondly, you must get enough rest and sleep. Then you must excercize regularly to boost the immune system. Finally, you must have the mental feeling that you don’t have the cold so the symptoms would not persist for too long.
Today I learned how people will be nice when you help them accomplish something for their good. They might return you in favor with a gift or simply a thankyou note. When you need help, the person who was helped will give you a helping hand at that moment.
Today I learned how sleeping early would really benefit our bodies. First of all, we would have enough strength for tomorrow and our minds would be clearer especially after lunch. Our bodies would have enough stamina for the day after and we won’t feel a loss of apetite for breakfast, the most important meal of the day.
Today I learned that reading 15 minutes each day would improve my SAT scores on the verbal and grammar sections since those sections are the hardest to improve. The math section is easier since more practice would make perfect.
Today, I learned how to make pizza in French class. First, we need to kneed the dough, they we put on the tomata sauce and cheese. Then we add our toppings such as ham, mushrooms, pineapple, and others we like. Finally, we wait for the dough to rise in the oven and be prepared to have a pizza to eat.
I learned how to write persuasive essays in class. First, we need a thesis and be able to support it with three reasons with two evidences for each. Then we need logical, ethical, and emotional appeals in the essay. Finally, we can work on the fluency and structure in the end.
I learned how to deal with stress the proper way. I could listen to music, talk with friends or family members, and play sports to loosen out the stress. By doing these things, I could effectively solve the problem before me instead of procrastinating to the last minute.
I learned how to eradicate mosquitos when I’m sleeping during the night. First, I would turn on the lights to see where the mosquito is. If the mosquito is not out, then don’t move and pretend to sleep. Then when you hear the buzzing sound again, you could get up and hit it with a fly swatter. If you still can’t find the mosquito, then you might as well sleep in another room.
I learned how to write persuasive essays in Expository Writing class. We have to have a narrow thesis and be able to support the claim with evidence and counterarguements.
